LEGISLATIVE BREAKFAST

The Seventh Annual Legislative Breakfast, sponsored by the Inland Empire Caucus, was held on February 4, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Ca. This year’s theme was “Which Road Will You Choose?” with a focus on detours to services, barriers to employment and obstacles to independence. The Inland Caucus is an advocacy network of local agencies that serve thousands of individuals with disabilities.

The Legislative Breakfast is a great opportunity to bring agencies, board members, employers, clients, parents and legislators together for a very enjoyable and informative meeting.

Amy Wall, CDSA Government Affairs, was Keynote Speaker for the event and Legislator of the Year was awarded to Senator Bob Huff, 29th District. Randy Hyatt, SGVTC Executive Director, presented a plaque to Isabel Sanchez of Transtar Industries
who has employed our client, Kevin Mackain, for 20 years. We appreciate this business partnership and look forward to many more years to come.
