Builders Guild Visits the San Gabriel Valley Training Center

The Builders Guild, a support group for the San Gabriel Valley Training Center and Workshop For the Handicapped and the Residential Facility, enjoyed its annual May meeting with the Board of Directors and staff at the Center following a fabulous lunch.

The Guild donated $16,000 this year, presented to Executive Director Randy Hyatt by Nancy Faulkner, Guild President. Founded in 1960 by members of the San Marino Women's Club as a separate guild, "Builders" has been actively involved in support of the Training Center.

The Training Center is located in La Puente and helps people with developmental disabilities find employment in the San Gabriel Valley.  Vocation training is offered in a number of fields, the most recent of which is computer technology.
